VPN Safely routes the traffic leaving your device through a server you choose, so the services you open see that server's address instead of yours. One control turns it on, one turns it off.
Free to download. An optional subscription unlocks the connection.
How it works
The app connects through a VPN configuration that iOS installs with your permission. While the tunnel is up, your traffic leaves the device encrypted and exits from the location you picked.
Allow the VPN configuration
On the first connection iOS shows its own dialog asking to add a VPN configuration. You allow it once. The profile stays until you remove it, and it does nothing while the VPN is off.
Pick a location
Choose a country from the list, or leave Optimal Location selected and the app connects to the nearest server that is available at that moment.
Connect
Tap the button in the middle of the screen. The timer above it counts the current session, and the label under it tells you whether the tunnel is up.
Choosing where you come out
The list in the app holds the locations we currently run, with Optimal Location at the top for when you have no preference. Switching is one tap: the current tunnel closes and a new one opens through the country you picked.
Which countries are on the list changes over time as we add and retire capacity, so the list inside the app is always the accurate one.
- No account and no sign-in before you can choose a location.
- Switch as often as you like while the subscription is active.
- Distance matters: a server near you will normally feel quicker than one on another continent.
What the app does, and what it does not do
A VPN is a useful tool with real limits. We would rather set them out here than let you expect something the app cannot deliver.
What it does
- Encrypts the traffic between your device and the server you connect to.
- Replaces the IP address that websites and services see with the server's address.
- Works on mobile data and on Wi-Fi networks, including shared and public ones.
- Lets you choose a location, or picks the nearest available one for you.
- Runs without an account: no sign-up, no password, no profile to create.
What it does not do
- It does not detect viruses or malware, and it does not scan the contents of your device.
- It does not monitor your battery, your storage or your system performance.
- It does not make you anonymous. A VPN changes the route your traffic takes; it does not sign you out of accounts, remove cookies you already carry, or stop a service from recognising you once you log in.
- It does not hide from your network that you are using a VPN, only what travels inside the tunnel.
- It does not replace keeping your device and your apps up to date.
Subscriptions
The app is free to download. Connecting through our servers requires an active subscription, bought inside the app through your Apple Account.

The price of each plan in your local currency, and the length of any introductory offer, are shown on the purchase screen in the app before you confirm anything. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation.
A subscription renews automatically unless renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You manage and cancel it in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device, not in the app. The full conditions are in the Terms of Use.

Connection trouble, a question about a charge, or anything about your data: it all comes to the same inbox, and we answer by email.
If your message is about a purchase, tell us which plan you bought and roughly when. We cannot see your payment details, so the more context you give, the fewer rounds it takes.
